The "All Saints Sinners"

CLUE: A sign in the church next door contains the letter you're looking for. It appears twice in a synonym for "every"

The church you see today was built over the original corrugated iron mission hut, which was dismantled and carried out through the West door. There were no pew rents which were common in those days, instead the congregation sat on chairs.

The All Saints school was just behind the church. The school, built in 1872, changed over the years, from offering general education to becoming a feeder infant school, and was finished a little earlier than the church, completed 1876.

A short lived pub, The Rainbow was open between 1871 to 1925. It was a freehouse and alehouse, with five public rooms and three private rooms. For the majority of its life, it was owned by George Holt from Castlefields.
